Research & Development:
NanoCat: Bio-medical application of nanoparticles for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer
EnSol is working closely with the Condensed Matter Physics group
at the University of Leicester (UK), on a pioneering
multidisciplinary project, spear headed by Prof. Chris Binns for
developing magnetic nanoparticles for diagnosis and treatment of
cancer (via Magnetic Resonance Imagine & Magnetic
Hyperthermia).
Preliminary results have demonstrated significant magnetic
enhancement of nanoparticles produced, (compared to more
established techniques). EnSol is currently searching for additional
research funding to support this ground breaking, pivotal work.
